Project 1
For my first Apollo project of this school year, I wanted to focus on a topic that I am particularly interested in: Japanese fashion. I wanted to key in on the streetwear aspect of it, since that is where I get a lot of my clothing inspiration from. I decided to focus on two styles that are very different in look, but where very influential in Japanese culture.
For this project I combined my two products for both Art & English and created a website, which can be accessed below:

Project 2
For this project I wanted to do a more psychological based project that also includes a hobby of mine, which would be listening to music. To combine these two topics, decided to settle with music therapy. For English, I did a research paper on the background of music therapy and as much information surrounding the topic that I could. For Art, I wanted to incorporate perspective by creating a survey where people could input songs that make them nostalgic or think of a certain event in their life. I then put these into a playlist and created two different album covers for the playlist and chose the one I preferred.

Project 3
For this project I wanted to focus on crime and the reasoning behind why criminals do what they do. For Art, I came up with my own crime case and created an evidence board, commonly seen in crime/detective shows. I tried to showcase reasoning by connecting various pieces of evidence to one another to say "This is why this person may have done this". For English, I researched an existing murder case. The case I researched was the disappearance/murder of Laci Peterson. For the product, I decided to write a letter to the parole board from the perspective of Laci's mom, Sharon, saying that Scott should not be able to get a re-sentencing.

Project 4
For my last and final project of Apollo, I decided to take another Psychology route. I find it interesting when learning about what personality types people have, so I wanted to use the personality types of those around me, such as my close friends, to create my product. I used synthesis by creating a podcast setting where my friends and I would be having a conversation and answering questions based on our personality types -- this was my English portion. As for Art, I combined this subject within my script as well. I created a segment within my script that talked about different traits from personalities and how they relate to Greek mythology and a piece of artwork to go along with it.
